The Streets Don't Lie - Episode 3 : From Paris to New York
Djibril Cissé scours the streets of his home nation's capital city in search of untamed talent. Twenty-two year old Hicham's family couldn't afford the 200 Euro registration fees to play in an organized system so Hicham played into his teens mostly outside the view of scouts. Yazid, 19, trained within a club's development system but when its academy suddenly closed, he had to sit the last year out, damaging both his prospects and his confidence. A soft-spoken, yet towering player, Ferdi, 22, fell victim to the backroom dealings of the business of pro sports even though his play has been positively compared to the best players. But everyone's surprised when one of them gets a pro trial, suddenly offering the runner-up the opportunity to train at the Red Bull Academy New York.
