On October 27th, Mido celebrated the conclusion of its #BeInspiredByArchitecture campaign that began three months previously.
Brand enthusiasts and architecture lovers took the opportunity to share, comment and post their favourite monuments on social media. From Monaco to Mexico via Beijing, Mido and its fans immersed themselves in the architectural wealth of the world’s greatest metropolises. Twelve cities and 60 iconic monuments were examined before selecting the building that would serve as a source of inspiration: New York’s Guggenheim Museum.
It was at the heart of this legendary NYC landmark that Mido hosted 500 guests for an exclusive gala evening marking the launch of the Inspired By Architecture limited edition inspired by the renowned architectural work by Frank Lloyd Wright.
The design of this model is based on one of the most famous architectural elements of the monument. The profile of the case evokes the external design with its emblematic rings, while the watch dial recalls the impressive glass dome crowning the edifice.
